Rittenhouse Square

Rittenhouse Square has long been considered the jewel of Philadelphia's five original public squares. Over the years, many architects and landscape architects have altered the space, including Paul Philippe Cret, Oglesby Paul, John Collins and George E. Patton. After preparing a new master plan for the overall space, Menke and Menke prepared construction documents, and then proceeded with the renovation of the central paved axes.
